Class 1 MELT, Experience and Equivalency Class 1 MELT and Class 3 Commercial Driver Training
Start Rite Driver Education has been operating in Grande Prairie for the past 24 years. Our mission is to offer Drivers with a new skill for employability. We want all our students to learn to be safe, courteous, responsible, knowledgeable and skillful drivers.
When you attend our school we provide you the skills to pass and receive the class of licence you train for. We help you achieve your goals, all that is required is trained or scheduled through us. Class 1 MELT Commercial Training
- Must have a full Class 5 Alberta Operators License.
- Must have driver’s medical current within 6 months.
- Must have air brakes course completed.
- We will arrange for you:
- The Road test
- Course Cost: $10,000
Experience and Equivalency Class 1 MELT

Class 3 Commercial Training
- Must have a full Class 5 Alberta Operators License.
- Must have an up to date Knowledge 3 Test completed.
- Must have air brakes course completed.
- We will prepare you for:
- The NSC Pre-Trip
- The Road test
- We will arrange for you:
- The Road test
- This is a 16 hour, 4 Day Program
- Course Cost: $2,550
